50th Anniversary Try Dives

Friday 22^nd March 2019 marked the 50^th anniversary of the formation of Cotswold BSAC 332, and there is no better way to celebrate than to go diving.  We decided that what we would do was introduce new people to diving, so held a try-dive evening at the pool.  The whole club took part to instruct, manage, help, loan equipment, fill cylinders, run around after people and of course socialise afterwards at The Cheese Rollers.  It was a great opportunity to showcase the club, and pass on the love of our sport.  We opened the event up 12 year olds and above, and it was great to give a couple of youngsters an early taste of scuba diving.  Just look at the photos, with many thanks to Geoff Holt for his underwater photographic excellence!  Thanks to all the try-divers who came along and helped make the evening a success.
