Bingo Night

We are planning to hold another Club Bingo evening on 16th October. Shaun has kindly offered to run this again, and those that attended the numerous events during lockdown will confirm they were loads of fun, including the added puzzles and challenges like the hidden songs in a picture!

The club kitchen is closed but they have negotiated with a pizza van www.delipizza.co.uk to be onsite. Once we have names and numbers, we can pre-order the pizzas and collect them on the night. I will e-mail closer to the time to get orders (and payment) before arranging with DeliPizza to have them ready on the night!.

What the night will involve:

  • We will aim to start just after 7pm, once everyone is in, settled and has a drink and some snacks.
  • Bingo packs will be issued at the club on your arrival
  • For your entry fee you will get 10 bingo sheets (the bingo pack), that will be 5 sheets in the 1st half & 5 sheets in the 2nd half. There will be 5 tickets per sheet and each sheet we play will be a certain colour and on each sheet we play there will be two games i.e. 1st game “a line“,  2nd game “full house“ there will be a few prizes for the night (any donations welcome).

How to get involved:

1. Pay £5 per “bingo pack” that will be played – this can be done via bank transfer

Account name: “Cotswold British Sub-Aqua Club”,
Sort code: 30-91-87,
Account no.: 57696060
Reference: Your name and surname

2. We will allocate the Bingo packs on the night, and will be checked off against the bank transfer receipts 🙂

3. If you have not played before, fear not, Shaun will explain each game on the night. during lockdown it was really easy – I even nabbed a prize 😉 – the mini games though will require your thinking caps based on past experience.

4. Games are open to all ages – as long as children are old enough to understand the basic rules / requirements.

5. Churchdown Club will be open for drinks and bar snacks, and I am sure there will be a food van outside.

Churchdown Club membership – this is by no means a sales pitch, but if you are interested in joining Churchdown club, they are more than part way through the years so their membership is discounted to £9.50 for brand new under 65’s and £7.50 for seniors over 65. If you join, there are some benefits, one f which is discounted drinks at the bar (not too many drinks required to save a £10’er)

How you can help:

As with previous Bingo evenings, if you have any prizes that can be donated, please let us know!
