Quiz Night

Before the end of the year approaches and people start getting busy with Christmas festivities, I thought I would organise another quiz as it seems popular. What with Halloween, firework night, the dive show and other peoples holidays, picking a date has been tough, but I’ve decided on Saturday 3rd December. Unfortunately I know some people can’t make this date, but then for some others this was the only date they could make! So it was either this date or nothing, and I didn’t want to do nothing 🙂

The quiz is being held once again at the Churchdown Club in the function room, so that means access to cheap drink during breaks! Food was popular last time, so we will be doing this again. The Club has a new dedicated chef, and she is able to offer the following for pre-order:

• Scampi and chips
• Sausage and chips
• Chicken goujons and chips
• 1/4 chicken and chips
• Pie + gravy and chips

All of the above cost £4 per head (I’ve had the goujons and chips and it was good value). If you wish to pre-order food, then please let me know before 25th November.

Food will be served at 7:15pm in the function room, with the quiz to start at 8pm.
