Crowdfunding Success!

The club Crowdfunding appeal has gone from strength to strength, making our £3000 target much faster than expected. There is still time to pledge if you haven’t already (https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/cotswold-bsac-coronavirus-funding), and the purchase of club merchandise is a great way to show your support. Hats and hoodies are proving most popular, and there are still a few calendars available featuring club members’ diving and trip photos from throughout 2020.

We have set a stretch target on the appeal, with extra funds contributing towards “Project Lifesaver”, which will help us return to teaching lifesaving skills as part of the Diver Training Programme, and through Skill Development Courses, in a COVID-safe manner. If we raise the funding we would like to be able to purchase an in-water rescue manikin, and additional resuscitation manikin resources, meaning we are able to resume the rescue elements of the Sports Diver and Dive Leader courses.
