Pembroke Hard Boat

Bryan is looking to run a dive weekend hard boat diving off the coast of Pembrokeshire next September diving on the 2nd and 3rd (neap tides) with accommodation for the 1st and 2nd.

The diving will be suitable for all grades. Sites can be discussed later but there are many and varied.

The diving will be with dive pembrokeshire on the boat Predator out of Neyland, which is licensed for 12 but normally takes 10 so we could take up to 12. Their web site is divepembrokeshire.co.uk.

Diving

2 dives per day – out from 9.00am – 17.00 approx. Hot drinks provided don’t know about food at this point

Air fills are done overnight we just leave tanks on quayside and they get taken away and returned  cost £4.00 per tank for air, Nitrox can be arranged but at this point I don’t know the cost.

Accommodation

I have made enquiries with Upper Neston Bunkhouse which is around 16 mins from Neyland. Please see attached leaflet

Costs

The boat is £480 per day (based upon enquires made this week) and they require a deposit of £100 per day to secure the booking (looking at their website the costs shown there are out of date / not next years)

The accommodation cost would be £16 per person per night and they ask for a 20% deposit to secure a booking.

So that is basically £960 for the boat and £32 per head for accommodation.

Please can you let me know soonest if you are interested so actual costs can be worked out and what the deposit is likely to be.

If at this point we say a minimum of 10 divers it would mean a deposit of £20 for the boat and £6.40 for the bunkhouse.

Assuming correct maths (big assumption) that’s a deposit of £26.40 ish and a full cost of £96 per person for the boat and £32 for accommodation giving £128 per person.
