Plymouth Hard Boat
Due to the popularity and success of the Plymouth dive weekend in March, I am organising another trip to Plymouth on the weekend of the 26/27th November.
Accommodation will again be at the Mountbatten centre, please remember that the centre is no 4* hotel but for a stay like ours, it is warm, welcoming and is only 50meters from where the boat will be.

This time we will be using “In Deep”, they run the shop in the Mountbatten centre where we get air fills so they can offer us a few extra’s over the last trip.
As well as the usual hot food and drinks on the boat during the day, they have offered the following,
- Two free air fills after Saturdays diving. (Normal charge for 2 air refills is £10)
- Free use of a second cylinder so you only have to take one of your own which should assist with reducing the load when car sharing.
- 10% discount in the Mountbatten centre bar and the In Deep shop.
- Free equipment storage. (Normal charge for use of the large storage containers is £15)
- Free parking for the weekend. ( I think the normal daily rate is £5 ? possibly slightly more)
- NO FUEL SURCHARGE on sites further out. (Normal charge for a lighthouse dive is £15 per person!!)
I am planning on booking a table at the Mountbatten hotel for the Saturday night meal, we ate there on our last trip and I can confirm the food is good quality and there is plenty of it, not even Connor Grant could manage a pudding after his main meal!!
Based on the initial interest shown, I have reserved one of the charter boats and although this trip is suitable for Ocean Diver and above, if you are (or will be) an ocean diver on this trip then please let me know before paying a deposit so I can make sure we have the right buddies in place.

If you are interested in coming on this trip, then please book early to avoid disappointment. In March we could have filled the boat twice over. Spaces will be allocated on a first come first serve basis and a deposit of £50 (non-returnable unless you can find a replacement diver) will be required by the 15th May to secure your space, after this time I will be offering it to divers outside of Cotswold 332. The balance of payment will be required by the 30th October.
