Teignmouth/Babacombe

Hi Everyone

I’m planning a one day trip to Teignmouth/Babbacombe on Saturday 15^th April (Easter Saturday). The plan is to launch the club rib from Teignmouth and bring it round to Babbacombe for approx. 10am. This will give a choice of diving options; shore diving at Babbacombe rib diving in Torbay or a mixture of the two. The trip will be suitable for all and will be the first opportunity to get the club rib in seawater in 2017. If you still have it have a look at the Feb 17 issue of Dive magazine for a very good run down of the Torbay rib dive sites. Max depth pretty much anywhere in Torbay is 15m so it will be a relaxed stress free start to the club diving year.

This replaces the dive trip on the club events page scheduled for the following weekend (22^nd/23^rd April).

Please let me know if you are interested – I will need help launching the rib from Teignmouth and someone to organise the shore diving at Babbacombe and of course some divers.

For those that don’t know the sites Teignmouth and Babbacombe are comfortable 2 to 2 ½ hour drives from Gloucester and Babbacombe has a really good café that is normally open all day but parking can be limited.
