SWANAGE WEEKEND – Sun 24th & Mon 25th July

Some details and conf of who is booked in on what day:-

Diving Sunday 24th:

Nick, Jacqui, Mark Harrison (332), Ian Grant, Jo Grant, Des, Neil :- Connor is booked on but cant make it – therefore space available, let me know if you know someone who could come.

Everyone should bring a dsmb, torch and knife/cutter if poss.

Ropes off 9.05am – Fleur De Lys

Diving Monday 25th:

Again, dsmb, torch, knife/cutter required

Ropes off 9.50am – Scenic Drift Dive
Pick a destination approx 15m depth out near the cliffs and dive the drift! DSMB per pair essential.

The boat comes in between dives and air is available on the pier.

General Info:

The diving is £50 per head per day for two dives. The skipper needs paying on the day. Cash please (no card service on the boat!).

The diving is with Swanage Boat Charters (not Divers Down shop!) – Bryan is the skipper of Swanage Boat Charters and will pull alongside the new pier (take your gear past the divers down shop onto the new pier and you’ll find about 20m up on the LEFT hand side are steps down to a floating pontoon).

Please have your gear ( cyl/bc/regs) ready assembled, fins, mask, dsmb etc in a net bag or something similar and be ready to load latest 30mins BEFORE ropes off. Dont forget weights!

Jacqui and I are booked into a local B&B both Saturday evening and Sunday evening (aiming to arrive tea time Saturday) – we’ll be finding somewhere to eat both nights – peeps welcome to join is! Please ensure you have booked your accom if it is required!

Parking – if you want to be on the pier you need to be there for around 7am on the Sunday and 7.30/8 on the Monday latest – otherwise its drop the kit then drive the car to a nearby NCP up a hill 10mims walk away! The pier is about £6 all day The NCP carpark a bit more.
